The print and scan quality is good, and the printing speed is very fast! Something to note is that both the printer and scanner default to half of the max quality. I've heard that higher DPI prints actually use less toner, but are slower. I haven't tried this out yet, but something that should be known. The build quality of the printer is very good, but the paper tray is super light and feels like junk that would easily break, so they could have put a bit more effort into the tray. Overall, the footprint of this printer is fairly large, though not much bigger than most all-in-one printers. Regardless, this is going to be targeting small offices and business use, as it's probably overkill for most personal use unless you're printing a lot! Note that this does not have fax. I had software issues with my PC and phone getting this setup. The initial printer setup for WiFi only consists of plugging the printer in and selecting your network and entering the password, which was really easy using the small touch screen. The connectivity seems good because I didn't have any issues from my basement where my old printer had trouble connecting. This is where I started having issues. Off, you can easily add this printer directly from the windows printers and scanners screen, but I recommend against this as it caused me issues. If you only need to print this may be the way to go, but it causes the "Windows Store" version of the HP Smart and Scanner apps to install and the DPI scaling is completely broken and they are completely unusable on high resolution monitors. Everything is so small you can't see anything. I was able to get around this by completely uninstalling everything and reinstalling from the suggested web page. Since windows apps can't use compatibility options there's no way to fix this, and I found complaints about it going back since at least 2019 which is wild considering HP is a multi-billion dollar company."
