The Matt finish is nice, especially if it’s in a more welded room. I mounted mine on the wall and it was relatively straightforward. If you know how to use a level and a yardstick and have some time to really do it right. It’s nearly flushed to the wall and really does look like a hanging art piece. The controls are very intuitive and relatively easy to navigate. Some of the advanced sound features you need to dig through the menus to find. However, the overall interface makes sense and is not laggy like a lot of smart TVs can be integration into Google home or Apple HomeKit is also very nice. It has all the features and a top smart TV has like Google cast, Apple AirPlay, PC streaming, etc. etc.,and they work just fine. The sound quality by itself is not bad, especially flat against the wall, but I highly recommend at least a sound bar to get a much better audio quality. But if you don’t have anything like that, it’s not too bad. However, what really makes this TV stand out, especially against the more expensive Samsung Frame, is the vast free library of art pieces available which look amazing on the matte screen. There’s no annoying subscription and it gets updated often with new pieces, literally hundreds. We have turned TV this into a conversation piece with our family where we are not just watching shows and movies together, but we are looking at art and talking about it and enjoying some of the well-known classics from Monet, etc., to many more obscure pieces that are also amazing and beautiful. For better or worse, our modern world tends to dominate our attention by endless screens perpetually seeking to overstimulate us. It’s nice to see a piece of technology that lets you intentionally choose to do the opposite, if you choose. It lets you slow down and be present and take something beautiful in and think about it. This allows you to change the whole feel of the room this TV is in. Rather than just a media box our dopamine addicted brains mindlessly gravitate towards, enslaved by the algorithms, it opens up the possibility of turning the room into a space ofsubtle and peaceful, quiet thoughtfulness. I think if this To only had art on it and wasn’t a real TV I still would enjoy having it in my house for this reason alone."
