I went through hell with customer assistance for 3 months, and I thought I was dealing with AI until I purposely misspelled 'her' name. Every offer to make things right felt like I was dealing with an entirely different person. Questions were never responded to in kind. Previous problems were never addressed. This system will at least protect your driveway. Detection is erratic and unreliable. Spend a couple bucks more but the customer ratings are poo. My claim was initiated on Sept. 26, 2025. The return of the camera system was granted. Labeled, boxed, paperwork submitted and shipped as requested. I never heard anything by November. After calling and getting passed from inept people without the authority to handle the situation and finally to a Supervisor, I was told the initial claim was authorized for payment. They apparently forgot to let me know the claim was approved. Still haven't gotten paid back for it yet. I sent back the original system with 4 cameras as well as 5 other cameras purchased afterwards. The rest of the 5 cameras required 2 hours+ to convince the Supervisor that there were 9 cameras in total. The initial amount of $399 for the base system is still in limbo. Asurion contacted me three times requesting the documentation provided with the original shipment. This was after the Supervisor said everything was approved. They wanted the same invoices, the invoice of the Asurion plan purchase, and this is the best part, pictures of each piece of equipment (front and back) and screenshots of each camera setting, and a label to ship it all back...AGAIN. Still no response to the reply that they have the entire system in a box. Somewhere. Like the Ark of the Covenant in Raiders of the Lost Ark. It felt like I was dealing with 10 different people who didn't bother to read the existing notes. The Kittyhok camera system was a nightmare. The Asurion plan is a nightmare. Keep your $16.99 a month and buy a cheeseburger and fries. The Coke will be a little extra. This has taken long enough that I purchased two systems since the original in Oct. 2024. Both were junk. I'm on my third now. Kittyhok clones are everywhere. They use the exact same app. They inundate you with persistent cloud service ads. My current system requires no NVR, no subscription and each camera records its own video on a SD card. That only cost me 6 hours to get working. I have sold, installed and serviced CCTV professionally for 35 years. 11 years with my own company. This has been an ordeal. It is still unresolved."
