The voice is fun to use, but it has command recognition difficulty when the fan is at higher speeds. Gesture and touch commands work well and the touch panel lamp colors on the front panel are attractive. The task lamps’ dimming control is smooth, and the lamps are bright enough. At the lowest speed, it is fairly noisy ( and a similar noise level to the highest speed on my old hood) but it works well. They included a physical, actual size, drill/screw, and vent location registration, paper template the top and back. Plenty of extra screws for installation. The removable hood intake panels are well built and easy to remove with securing latches. It does take two people to do the final install. It’s not too heavy. But for rear venting , the hood needs to be pushed toward the rear while the remain two screws are installed. Use a long screw driver that can hold screws on its tip, to place the final screws. The screws provided were only slightly attracted to magnets. I found just lying on my back on the counter top was the easiest access to the last screw to be installed that is closest to the wall. The power cable is a 3 prong grounded about 2.5 feet long ( I didn’t measure it.) and comes out of the top of the hood. Routing it out the back looked doable, but disconnecting the power wires and ground cable might be troublesome as the power wires have a special connector used inside the hood. That connector may not fit through the top power cord hole. A back power cord hole is provide though. I’m giving this item 5 stars because after 30 years, this is my 3rd oven hood, and it is definitely a well made, with solid product quality, and the best that I have experienced so far. Update: Some months have passed and I made some changes. The low speed has a very large airflow and the noise level is also noticeable. At high speeds the audio control can not hear the operators. To resolve both of these issues I install a basic fan control in-line with the 120 VAC power. The range now operates as it did before except the 4 fans speeds each are uniformly reduced and the noise level is now minimized. I set the fan control once during insta for the lowest speed, the other speeds also dropped proportionately. The fan control is now permanently fixed. The audio works at all speed levels. Both fans are automatically controlled identically with one fan control in-line. 😊"
