I was looking hard at the Bullydog but alas they don't have a tuner compatible with my 2017 Tundra and I wasn't positive I wanted to drop between $500-$700 bucks for one (don't get me wrong, Bullydog is sweet I just was nervous about that price point). Anyhow, I landed on Pedal Commander and kept coming back to the Amazon page for about three weeks. I was reading the reviews and watching the videos but I just couldn't convince myself to pull the trigger. Finally, I decided that if the Pedal Commander can do what it says from a gas savings perspective, it's a no brainer and would pay for itself pretty quickly so I pulled the trigger. The Pedal Commander arrived yesterday - well packaged and early! I was stoked!!! So I unboxed everything and followed the instructions to the letter and in 10 minutes I was ready to road test. I'll note here that I unlocked my truck from in the house, left the keys in the house and installed the Pedal Commander in the driveway (the key fob can create issues). Installation was ridiculously easy. Two connections and a little cable snaking and you're in business. Once in, I grabbed the keys and of course set it on Sport + setting +4 and the truck literally jumped off the line. I was AMAZED!!! I took it around the neighborhood and tested all the settings and I am over the moon with how sweet this little controller is. While I know it's not providing any additional power, the throttle response is so snappy, it absolutely feels like it. Now my problem is, I'm loving driving it in City 2+, I don't know if I'll ever realize the gas savings that I was purchasing this for initially but I don't care! I would very honestly and sincerely recommend this controller to anyone who is looking to really maximize the potential of your vehicle's throttle response without a ton of time or expense. While I realize that $300 is not cheap, once you have this little beauty installed, you won't regret spending it. This controller does exactly what it says it does and is well worth the money!!! Do it! You won't be disappointed. Super satisfied customer here."
