"I got this Bugaboo Kangaroo Bassinet because I already loved how versatile my Kangaroo stroller is and how well it grows with our family, but..." "I got this Bugaboo Kangaroo Bassinet because I already loved how versatile my Kangaroo stroller is and how well it grows with our family, but I was never comfortable using the infant holder that was part of the original setup for a newborn. This solves that problem completely. This bassinet turns the Kangaroo into a true newborn setup that I trust for daily use, neighborhood walks, naps on the go, and errands. This is a small upgrade that changes the entire experience because now the Kangaroo actually covers the full range from birth without compromise. The first thing I noticed is how light this is and how flat it folds. When I carry this, the weight makes a difference especially when I'm juggling my kiddos, bags, and everything else that comes with daily life. The almost flat fold is especially good because I can store this easily without rearranging my entire closet. The fabric is soft, breathable, and modern, and the ventilation panels are one of my favorite parts because they keep my newborn comfortable during longer walks. The color is a neutral medium gray that works with everything and looks clean even after a full day outside. I use this every day and the fabric still looks fresh. I never trusted the infant holder because it was too upright and never looked comfortable for a newborn. It did not give me the confidence I wanted for naps or longer outings. This bassinet fixes that. This is a flat, supportive, newborn‑ready setup that makes the Kangaroo feel complete. I can actually use the stroller the way I wanted to from the beginning. The mattress is supportive and the airflow makes a noticeable difference during warm afternoons. This is exactly what I wanted the Kangaroo to offer from day one. There was one odd moment during unboxing because the label says Pram Body Fabric Complete instead of bassinet. I thought I had the wrong item until I opened it. It is the correct bassinet and the naming confusion is minor, but just FYI to avoid any additional mom stress. My only real wish is that this came with a storage bag because bag would keep this cleaner when it's not in use. Even with that small critique, this is one of the most useful Kangaroo accessories I have purchased."
